The Star Cursor is a cursor that appears on the screen when the R button on the Wii Remote is pressed. This star shaped cursor enables Mario to do many things such as spinning/Star Spin, digging up coins from the ground, activating a boost star, stunning enemies and grabbing a Star Shard.
