Undergrunt Gunners are bosses in Super Mario Galaxy. They are blue Monty Moles that man cannons. There are several ways to attack them in the game, such as jumping above them as Spring Mario and ground pounding their glass cockpits, or throwing coconuts at them--whatever the attack, their cannons can withstand three hits. They appear in the Deep Dark Galaxy, the Gold Leaf Galaxy, and the Toy Time Galaxy. In the Gold Leaf and Deep Dark galaxies, they shoot bubbles from their cannons. In the Toy Time Galaxy, this one shoots orbs of lightning instead. Also In the Toy Time Galaxy, after the second hit, this Undergrunt Gunner puts on an electrical shield that will shock Mario or Luigi if they try to ground-pound it while it is activated.
It's also worth noting that when the Undergrunt Gunner takes damage twice, he'll turn angry in the same manner that Major Burrows gets angry.
