The Toad Kart is, as its name implies, Toad's kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It looks rather like the classic karts from Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64. This kart is unlocked by completing Special Cup in 100cc. It comes with the unlockable duo of Toad and Toadette. Much like other lightweight karts, the Toad Kart has low top speed and is easily knocked away because of it's weight, but has above average acceleration. Another lightweight kart, the Rattle Buggy, has statistics identical to the Toad Kart. However, the Toad Kart has slightly more speed and a little less weight, although they accelerate at the exact same pace.
Trivia
- The Toad Kart bears a rather resemblance to the Standard TD kart, with the same color scheme and trademark symbol on their front: a red-capped Mushroom.
