Dried Fruits are red, leafy berries found in Paper Mario. Many Pokeys drop them, and they're common in Dry Dry Desert. It restores 15 HP and comes in handy when out in the desert's wilderness. Mixing them makes Yummy Meal and Thunder Rage, so basically the average player would want to stock up on these, although this is optional.
