Mechakoopa Stomp: Difference between revisions
(The manual describes the Mecha-Koopa as "One of Bowser's giant Mecha Koopas." I'm not sure if that really implies that there's more than one of them or not...) |

Bowser Crush is the fourth and final special attack King Bowser learned during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. When used in battle, Bowser would summon a giant green Mecha-Koopa that proceeded to stomp across the battlefield, damaging all enemies. To increase the amount of damaged delivered, the player could press the "Y" button repeatedly during the attack. King Bowser learned this attack at level 18, and needed 16 Flower Points to use the technique. Bowser Crush had a Magic Power rating of 58 points.
The gigantic Bowser Crush Mecha-Koopa was developed by Koopa researchers in a top-secret laboratory located deep within Bowser's Keep[1]. These Koopas worked long shifts for months on end designing this powerful weapon. However, their ultimate goal was to not to create a battlefield weapon, but to create a device that could crush flowers and frighten butterflies. This giant Mecha-Koopa was finished just as the Smithy Gang invaded Bowser's Keep and the Mushroom World. Initially, King Bowser was disappointed he could not immediately use his new weapon to squish flowers as he had more pressing matters to attend to, such as reclaiming his keep, rebuilding the Koopa Troop, and defeating Smithy. However, he soon discovered that the Mecha-Koopa could be used to smash enemies and members of Smithy's gang. Bowser enjoyed this revelation immensely, and took pleasure in crushing opponents after learning to summon this giant Mecha-Koopa. Multiple Mecha-Koopas of this sort exist, and it is possible that a different one is summoned each time Bowser Crush is used[2].
