Tumble is the host of Mario Party 3, instead of Toad. Tumble is similar to Toads, however, the arms and legs on Tumble are invisible, leaving disembodied hands and shoes. Also, instead of a Mushroom Cap, Tumble has a dice.
Tumble is mysterious in that depending on the location of the Star, Tumble's expression changes. There is no explanation for this, however, and it serves no purpose in the game.
At the end of the game, it is revealed that Tumble was the Millenium Star in disguise.
Tumble reappears in Mario Party Advance, this time in charge of the mini-games.
