Aboutfile[edit]

Hello, Whoismacaroni. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below.

{{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. A description of the image subject (parameter 1) should always be included, even if it's just a few words. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hi! When uploading files, make sure to include the "aboutfile" template when you do. As of right now, you're uploading Mario Kart World screenshots with just a description and the source. I can help you with this!

Because you're only uploading the description and source of the files, you only need the first two parameters. Here's what you have to do:

{{aboutfile |1=(Description) |2=(Source) }}

It's supposed to show the template vertically, but you can take a look at one of my edits here on how I put the information in the right spots.

If you ever need additional help, feel free to contact us! Thank you and good luck! link:User:Sparks Sparks (talk) link:User:Sparks 09:21, April 12, 2025 (EDT)
