Watinga is a large robotic insect which appears as a boss in Fly Swatter mini-game in Mario Paint. Watinga is capable of shoot out stinger missiles and poison gas, he is also capable of flight.
Watinga only other appearance was in a remake of the Fly Swatter which was one of 9-Volt retro games in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$.
Watinga is one of the most obscure (possibly the most obscure) Mario characters.
