The object in ''Mario vs. Donkey Kong'' is obviously not a crystal ball, it's a ''{{wp|gashapon}}''-style capsule ball. The article says that they're "more capsule-like" in the remake, but I think that was pretty clear to begin with. :That's what they're based on, but they're called 'crystal balls' in the advertisement (both versions, {{file link|MvsDK_JP_Cover.jpg|and JP box art}}. That said, they're definitely redesigned in the remake. You can tell they're plain orbs in the original, and in the animation where the Mini-Mario is freed, the ball shatters as if it's made out of glass; in the remake, you not only see both halves, but it breaks apart like it's plastic (as if should, the original was a safety hazard!). Couple Problems Here

One: The Ultra Stone (which has it's whole own article anyway) just looks like a shiny, perfectly spherical ... sphere. It also does not look at all crystal. Is there some reason this is here?

Two: I'm pretty sure the Mini Marios are in plastic capsules,

where are (like the ultra stone) balls, but not crystal. Any special reason this is here?

Because if things resemble eachother or have the same name, they are put into the same article. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
