In May 2012, Nintendo opened a store at the Al Faisaliah Mall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the store was operated by Shas Samurai, Nintendo's Saudi representative.[5] However, the store is no longer listed on the mall's website, indicating that it must have closed.[6] The store closed sometime between 2019 and 2022: a page for it on the mall's website existed as late as August 2019,[7] and it was no longer listed as early as July 2022 (the mall had been renamed to Mode Mall at the time).[8]
