===Shorten reissue titles===
This proposal aims to shorten titles of reissues on this template to just say the title of the reissue sans the original game name. For example, ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' (''Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3'') will be shortened to ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' (''Super Mario Advance 4''), ''Super Mario 64'' (''Super Mario 64 DS'') will be shortened to ''Super Mario 64'' (''DS''), and ''New Super Mario Bros. U'' (''New Super Luigi U'' · ''New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe'') will be shortened to ''New Super Mario Bros. U'' (''New Super Luigi U'' · ''Deluxe''). For looser titles, it will say, for example, "(''for Nintendo 3DS''). I have a few main reasons for these:
#'''Shortening''': If the parentheses are already added to the right of an original game, people can already assume that it is an extension or reissue of said game, and therefore don't need to see the same name again right next to it.
#'''Reissues with the exact same name already have the name shortened''': Reissues with the exact same name as the original (no extra words added) already just say the name of the platform it is on. Granted, they do share the exact same name, but most of these dongled reissue names are just the original with an extra word or two added at the end or the beginning.

Shorten reissue titles

This proposal aims to shorten titles of reissues on this template to just say the title of the reissue sans the original game name. For example, Super Mario Bros. 3 (Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3) will be shortened to Super Mario Bros. 3 (Super Mario Advance 4), Super Mario 64 (Super Mario 64 DS) will be shortened to Super Mario 64 (DS), and New Super Mario Bros. U (New Super Luigi U · New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe) will be shortened to New Super Mario Bros. U (New Super Luigi U · Deluxe). For looser titles, it will say, for example, "(for Nintendo 3DS). I have a few main reasons for these:

  1. Shortening: If the parentheses are already added to the right of an original game, people can already assume that it is an extension or reissue of said game, and therefore don't need to see the same name again right next to it.
  2. Reissues with the exact same name already have the name shortened: Reissues with the exact same name as the original (no extra words added) already just say the name of the platform it is on. Granted, they do share the exact same name, but most of these dongled reissue names are just the original with an extra word or two added at the end or the beginning.
  3. Makes more sense to pharanthesize rather
