Appearance in Super Mario Kart

Donut Plains 1 is the second course in the Mushroom Cup of Super Mario Kart. It reappeared in Mario Kart DS, where it was put in Banana Cup. It features a lake which is to be crossed by a bridge. Though the major part of the lake is surrounded by crash barriers, there are some places where the player can fall into the water. This is easily to be avoided however. Another obstacle of the course, alongside the fact that it is relatively curvy, is a large lake of mud just before the target line, which makes drivers' control over their Karts difficult.

Appearance in Mario Kart Super Circuit

In Mario Kart Super Circuit, Donut Plains 1 uses the background of Riverside Park. An item box has been added to the right side at the start of the bend next to the part of the lake with no crash barrier.

Appearance in Mario Kart DS

Donut Plains 1 is the first course in the Banana Cup. Like every other Retro Super Mario Kart track in Mario Kart DS, it only has 3 laps instead of 5. Mission 2-3 is played on this track. Donut Plains 1 is not available in Wi-fi
