Kalmar is one of the Star Spirits in Paper Mario. He is the Star Spirit Crystal King guards. He doesn't have much detail to him, just a mustache and a pair of eyes.
As his name implies, he is very warm hearted, he hates fights and/or arguments.
In Mario Party 5, Kalmar is the guide of the options mode.
Kalmar's Power
- Power – Up & Away
- Power Obtained – Chapter 7: A Star Spirit on Ice
- What it does – Turns enemies into stars, knocking them out of battle.
- Star Power needed – Two

- Even if he wasn't meant to be named after it, his name is the same as the Swedish city Kalmar.
