Not starting a proposal yet, but...

So, uh, our younger brother was evidently struck with a fae mood, because he's been going through and trying to 100% Game & Wario. And as a result, we've seen, uh. Things? We guess? Look, let's cut to the chase:

  • We think that we should probably actually split the list of rewards up a-la the Souvenirs, since a lot of them currently go undocumented--with the exception of Bugband, the Gamer microgames, the Mona Superscoop, and Hint Cards, everything is currently melded together in this article, and only provides the game's own description with no clarification as to how the rewards work.
  • In addition to the prizes, information on the Token Machine is practically nonexistent beyond "it exists", and we feel it could be split up too. It's a coin pusher minigame that effectively serves as a Token sink. Incidentally, Tokens do have ONE use after unlocking the Token machine--you get a ribbon for obtaining 9,999 of them. The Token Machine is currently only namedropped and ribbons aren't mentioned anywhere until we added them.

The problem, of course, is that... uh... doing this would require someone to both have means to capture Wii U (and Gamepad!) footage, and also *100%* Game & Wario. And we don't actually know if this is something anybody would want in the first place, given nobody's argued to split up the Cluck-A-Pop Prizes (and Token Machine) in almost a decade.

So, we guess we should ask, is this even something worth putting to proposal? If not, is it because there's literally zero need for it, or is it because it's a plainly obviously absent thing and we should just make the articles? Give the Cluck-a-Pop Prizes articles

A Yellow Block from Super Mario World This talk page section contains an unresolved talk page proposal. Please try to help and resolve the issue by voting or leaving a comment.

This is pretty overdue, so we figure we may as well make it while it's fresh on our mind. The proposal is fairly simple; give the various Cluck-a-Pop prizes that don't have articles, articles. Our thought process is pretty darn simple; if we have articles for the various other souvenirs (note: admittedly Gold in particular still lacks a few articles, like one for the Studio Sessions, but I could easily see those being made if this passes), why not these, right? The Cluck-a-Pop prizes are analogous to the souvenirs from other WarioWare games, this feels fairly simple.

In particular:

  • Obviously, the BALLOON FIGHTER microgames already have their own articles, so this is a moot point for those.
  • We imagine the Bugbands, Crystal Balls, Call Codes, Mona Superscoops, and Hint Cards will keep their united articles, since we do that for groups of souvenirs already (e.g. Fan (souvenirs))
  • We would like new united articles for the various other groups of souvenirs, like the "Forgetful <x>"s, the Mics, the -scopes, the Strings, Sketchbooks, Disguises, Mirrors, Boxes o' <x>, Orbulon's Prized Masterpieces, Tops, Warionettes, and Character Cards. (There may be a few groups we missed, admittedly?)
  • Everything else would get its own article, naturally, and would be linked here; this would serve as a dual-list of the Cluck-A-Pop items, as well as an article for the Cluck-A-Pop itself and possibly its Token Machine (we imagine that could be split off due to the nature of it, but we'll have to wait and see.)

Support (Ba-QUAWK!)

  1. Camwoodstock (talk) Per our own proposal, of course; this feels like a bit of consistency we're sorely lacking at the moment.
  2. Scrooge200 (talk) Feels like something that we should've done way earlier, except that Game & Wario probably has the worst coverage on this wiki besides DK: Jungle Climber.
  3. EvieMaybe (talk) if the others have it! also, really the worst coverage? what about Virtual Boy Wario Land?
  4. Rykitu (talk) Per all. Also Virtual Boy Wario Land is far from the worst coverage. That award goes to either the mangas or the Super Show's Korean dub
  5. ThePowerPlayer (talk) Per all. Also, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 would like a word with you...
