Sorry for bringing this up twice, but I feel like user sandboxes shouldn't be included in mainspace categories. :Category:Virtual Boy games and the like containing "User:EvieMaybe/Wariolandbox" looks odd. Was this a mistake? I'm bringing it up here since I don't think I'm allowed to edit those pages. 07:37, January 17, 2025 (EST)

When was this name used? Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 21:56, September 27, 2023 (EDT)

Enemy list proposal

For this proposal, what was your intended primary ordering of lists, after grouping the enemies by variants? Was it alphabetically, by significance, or by level appearance (chronologically) like Megadardery mentioned? Or was the primary order not relevant to the proposal? Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 02:31, June 4, 2024 (EDT)

i don't really think it's my place to decide! that'd take a whole another proposal. i just wanted to group the variants together, the actual order can be whatever it already was. megadardery is the one who started ordering them chronologically (which i agree with), but i don't think there was ever a consensus about it. Okay, just wanted to clarify.
Just thought you should know too that someone created a page for a topic you're working on, if you wanted to contribute. Samus costume, in Super Mario Maker. Mario JC 08:40, June 6, 2024 (EDT)

About the "splitting enemy behavior for certain games" proposal

I added an option that is more like what you were thinking, by the way. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:28, October 2, 2024 (EDT)

Splitting RPG fights?

https://www.mariowiki.com/MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/71#Split_major_RPG_appearances_of_recurring_locations

Noticed this passed proposal. I do agree on its principle. But, with the same principle in mind, I also recommend considering how we deal with pages of recurring character fights such as Bowser, Koopa Troopa, Goomba, and others. Those pages are big enough, and they are going to keep getting bigger as we keep getting more games like Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario. I do think there has to be an easier way for readers to access information and editors to maintain content about particular Bowser fights without having to deal with the rest of Bowser's giant page. Mario It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:05, December 27, 2024 (EST)

i don't think it's warranted for stuff like enemies because those essentially work the same in most games in the series. you just have to describe how goombas behave in SMB1, PM64, MLSS and then you can just build off of that for their other appearances. bowser, however, is an interesting case because basically all of his fights are completely different from eachother. i don't know what splitting bowser's history page could look like, but i do think it's a good idea on paper. — Super Leaf stamp from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.eviemaybe (talk / contributions) 00:20, December 28, 2024 (EST)

Sandbox categories

Sorry for bringing this up twice, but I feel like user sandboxes shouldn't be included in mainspace categories. Category:Virtual Boy games and the like containing "User:EvieMaybe/Wariolandbox" looks odd. Was this a mistake? I'm bringing it up here since I don't think I'm allowed to edit those pages.
