Vine Valley (Forbidden Forest in the animated series) is a large forested area of Donkey Kong Island with several tree-top villages and temples in it. A number of the levels in it involve going through a large forest, and there's also a large bay connected to the Ocean in the middle. Like the Monkey Mines, there's a large temple. The boss of this area is Queen B. Vine Valley is ventured through in the game Donkey Kong Country.
Appearances in Other Media
In the animated series, this area was easy to get lost in, and had quick sand and Bog Monsters. It also was solely made up of forest, without a bridge or building, contrary to the game's depiction.
Trivia
- In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country, Temple Tempest was moved from being the fourth level in Vine Valley to the sixth.
