Hot Roderick is the second boss in Wario Land: Shake It!. Wario meets him in Wiggly Wilds, in the boss level Hot Roderick Race. He appears to be a man in a car. In beginning, Wario has to step in a yellow Unibucket-like vehicle with a booster, and the battle starts. In battle, Hot Roderick will throw wrenches to Wario and Wario has to punch them via his vehicle, so the wrenches will hit Hot Roderick's engine. When the engine is down for a little time, Wario can hit Hot Roderick with the same vehicle. When it's HP is half, he "raises" his car up and throws tires. Wario can still hit his motor, but must steer the direction of the vehicle to punch the tires to the engine. If the engine's down again for a short time, Hot Roderick's car first comes down, so Wario can hit him. He also can come down to slow down and then comes after Wario to rush him. Wario can dodge this attack to let jump his vehicle. At the last of his remaining health, the car will break up and the scrap parts will fly at Wario, who must hit them back (no damage is dealt to the driver). Even after his car breaks up, he will start running very fast while the steering wheel is in his hand, a simple punch will be enough to defeat him.

Trivia
