Medals are collectible items appearing in DK: King of Swing. Here, they are to be the prizes for the upcoming Jungle Jam tournament. However, all the medals are stolen by King K. Rool before the tournament can begin. Donkey Kong goes on an adventure to recover them.

The medals are featured as bronze, silver, and gold medals. The latter type can only be obtained after defeating a world boss.
