Chain-Chomp Chase in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix

Chain-Chomp Chase is a minigame in World 3 in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix.

Gameplay[edit]

A Chain-Chomp starts chasing Mario or Luigi. The player has to quickly press ← and → alternately on the Dance Pad for 10 seconds to run fast enough to escape the Chain-Chomp. If it hits Mario or Luigi, it sends him toward the screen, which breaks, thus breaking the fourth wall.

In-game text[edit]

  • "The Chain-Chomp came out of nowhere! You'd better pick up the pace or he'll catch you!"
  • How to Play: "The Chain-Chomp's on your tail! Lose him by stepping on ← and → quickly!"
