Vine Whip is a new special move used by Ivysaur in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is Ivysaur's up special move, and will make use of the Tether Recovery tactic. When Ivysaur is sent falling off the edge, the player should use Vine Whip, and Ivysaur will grab onto a ledge with his vine, and retract the vine, to bring himself back up safety. However, the vine does have a limit to how far it can reach, and it won't go TOO far. Vine Whip is an actual attack in the Pokémon series.
