Seedles are seed-like enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership on Conductor Island and Rumbla Island. They are the weakest enemies in the game and the first ones Mario battles. They have brown feet, yellow bodies, and a green sprout. Seedles, like most other enemies, wander on the field aimlessly, only attacking when Mario and Luigi get too close to them.

Battle[edit]

Seedles attack by simply running into the Mario Bros., which can be avoided or countered by jumping. They can also roll coconuts at them, which can also be avoided or stomped with a jump.

Seedles also have a stronger variant called the Seedle R, which appears on Florall Island, and a water-possessing variant called the Hydro Seedle, which appears on both Florall Island and Liil Islet and can heal other enemies. The Seedles on Rumbla Island later become infected with Glohm. There is also an enemy called Seedlusa that resembles a Seedle at first before digging into the ground and transforming into a flower-like monster and can be found in the Soli-Tree.

The Battle Plug "Seedle-ize" has a chance of turning attacked enemies into Seedles; this also affects the experience, coins and rewards obtained from transformed enemies after the battle. Bosses cannot be turned into Seedles.
