I think it should be renamed to "Bomb (Mario Hoops 3-on-3)" instead of "Bomb (Final Fantasy)" because Bomb's presence in the Final Fantasy universe has nothing to do with Mario. Why does this page have two )) at the end? I moved it, but is this an error? On another subject, can someone please find a more official name for this article? I don't think something that jumps out of fire is a bomb.Knife (talk) 14:45, 25 February 2007 (EST)
It is probably an error. but since it is pending deleteion, oh well. Isyou 14:49, 25 February 2007 (EST)
Bomb is the official name for the fireball enemies from the Final Fantasy series. -- Son of Suns
Might need better identifier?
Given that it's a Final Fantasy creature, I've thought that this article would be titled Bomb (Final Fantasy), but that doesn't appear to be the case. Then I figured that it would've been Bomb (enemy) (given that Bomb is typically an enemy in the Final Fantasy games, and it's even an obstacle in the context of Mario Hoops 3-on-3), but that title appears to correspond to an enemy from Virtual Boy Wario Land.
Now the title did make sense at the time it was created (February of 2007), but at this point we have two species/enemies named "Bomb". Wouldn't it make more sense if this was titled Bomb (Final Fantasy) or at least Bomb (Final Fantasy enemy)? rend (talk) (edits) 04:41, August 9, 2024 (EDT)
Move to Bomb (Final Fantasy)

Based on the vote so far, this proposal may be eligible to close one week early. Please use {{proposal check|early=yes}} on December 7 at 23:59 GMT and close the proposal if applicable.
See the above discussion. The moment I saw this page, I thought it should be titled Bomb (Final Fantasy), and that especially holds now that the wiki covers another species named "bomb". (If Bob-ombs, which are mechanical creatures, can be considered species in the {{about}} template, which is the very first thing on the page, then so can the bombs from Virtual Boy Wario Land.) Using Final Fantasy as the identifier for this creature would be a much better distinguisher.
EDIT: Per Hewer's support reasoning, if this proposal passes, the article currently titled Bomb (enemy) will also be moved to Bomb (Virtual Boy Wario Land).
