Move
I think this article should be moved to Bowser's Castle, its only refered to as Bowser's Keep in one game, while its called Bowser's Castle in atleast a dozen. -- Sir Grodus
I agree. We'll just mention it on it's page.-- Aipom --
I support this move. Well, lets do it.Knife (talk) 18:33, 2 March 2007 (EST)
Area Tattles too long
The Area Tattles are too long, and take up a majority of this page for something so minor. Do you think we should cut them down or remove them? LEIRIN Leirin 13:16, 5 January 2009 (EST)
You should know
In M&SATOWG Bowser's castle is also where the Dream Ice Hockey Event was held. User:Mecha-Boss Unit
Super Mario Galaxy
Are the galaxies in which Bowser is fought in both SMG games worth mentioning? While not actual castles, they do seem to be heavily inspired by them and serve the same purpose as the castles in previous games. DrFurball
I agree, Bowser's Galaxy Reactor and Galaxy Generator both have castle-like structures that look like traditional Bowser's Castles. DARTHZERIMAR
More Images?
This article has plenty of images... I don't think we need anymore, we should remove the image tag. - Killer Axe
Um, the Yoshi sections need an image each. I'll do the YIDS info & pic, OK? This Is War 16:14, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Should we put a pic of Bowser's Castle from SMB? Either the sprite at the end of 8-3 or the overworld map screen of World 8 from SMB DX? I know it's generic and, in appearance, the exact same as all other castles in that game, but I believe it is still worth adding. Maybe someone should just add a gallery page for Bowser's Castle, though, since we do have a lot of images already. DARTHZERIMAR
What we need is a gallery to view all of Bowser's Castles. --LTIan (talk) 14:49, 4 December 2015 (EST)
Got a question...
Why are Bowser's Castle and Bowser Castle two separate pages ? Koopalmier 11:40, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Silly French Koopa (No offense, of course). This Bowser's Castle is the main one from the main platformers, whereas the other is the race course/stadium from spin-off games like Mario Kart. This Is War 12:15, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- "No offense" ? You say something offensive then say "no offense" ? ... Do we have any proof both "Bowser's Castle" are different ? And this article also covers Bowser's Castle from the RPGs, although that's irrelevant to what I'm saying. Koopalmier 08:41, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- Bowser's Castle is the name of the castle belonging to Bowser, hence the 's after the word Bowser. However Bowser Castle is the proper name given to a multitude of Mario Kart series courses. Bowser Castle is a proper noun, meanwhile Bowser's Castle simply refers to a castle possessed by Bowser. Does that clear things up? Marioguy1 (talk)
- I understand that. I also understand that Bowser Castle tracks are located inside Bowser's Castle. What I'm trying to say is that the castle's appearance around these tracks should be covered on this article, just as the appearance of Peach's Castle in Mario Kart is covered on its article. Koopalmier 15:51, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Oops, just saw it's already covered. Strange I didn't notice that before. Sorry. Koopalmier 15:52, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Fortune Street
Is that what the board looks like in Standard mode? That isn't what it looks like in the Easy version.Greentoad
Coney Island Disco Palace
Honestly? I think this was just a facetious, mocking name for the place Mario used once... unless there was something in the series bible that really says it was called that? A citation would be handy there, in that case. -- LBD "Nytetrayn"
Area Tattles
Should we add the Kersti 'tattles' from Paper Mario: Sticker Star onto the Area Tattles page? Akfamilyhome 08:52, 17 December 2012 (EST)
Partners In Time map
Why is there a map of bowsers castle from pit? If that is included, shouldn't there also be a map for it in ss and bis?
— The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mustard Of Doom (talk).
- What map are you referring to, specifically? The world map, or the level layout map? Anyway, the level layout map is from Bowser's Inside Story while both Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story has the world map. The reason it's inconsistent is because... it's inconsistent. And besides, the article is already cluttered enough; I can't imagine squeezing even more images there. :P It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 02:47, 16 November 2014 (EST)
Gallery
I'd like to see a gallery of Bowser's many castles. :) --LTIan (talk) 14:48, 4 December 2015 (EST)
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam - Bowser's Castle
Can anybody add pictures of Bowser's Castle and Neo Bowser Castle from this game? --LTIan (talk) 12:30, 7 December 2015 (EST)
Black Bowser's Castle
Neo Bowser Castle gets an article, as does Bowser's Sky Castle. Why not Black Bowser's Castle?
(--) 23:13, 26 October 2016 (EDT)
- I agree with this.-- 17:05, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
- For me, this is Bowser's Castle owned by Black Bowser. I haven't seen the castle that much, but I say the only thing different is that all of it is black. And if your wondering if ownership matters, Fawful took over Bowser's Castle and made it look more like him. Yet, it is still part of the Bowser's Castle article. Although, the name was suggests that they are the same. But, if the decision for Black Bowser's Castle to be separate, I will accept the idea. (Note that Black Bowser's Castle should still be listed here as a link if it is decided to be separated.) Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:17, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
Question
Shouldn't Bowser's Castle (BIS, and it's remake.) have it's own article? - Bowser64 (Talk - Sandbox)
- Bowser's Castle in games like Paper Mario or Superstar Saga are covered in this article as well, so I don't think so. Nightwicked Bowser 17:28, April 13, 2021 (EDT)
This page needs a split
This talk page or section has a conflict or question that needs to be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment. |
It's not very good for this page to contain tons of information for one game. Bowser's Castle from the following games need to be split, with remaining content being a very brief overview of these levels and plot relevancy.
- Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (probably, didn't play the game)
- Paper Mario
- Paper Mario: The Origami King
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions
- Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story / Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey (has a role of being both an enemy and a location, might need two splits)
- Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
The page is already split many times in other spinoffs and in the platformers, so I don't think it's a good idea to keep these parts merged when this page is big enough already. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 16:00, May 6, 2023 (EDT)
- Bowser's Castle being split in Mario Kart and the platforming games is to cover each unique race course and level respectively. In the RPGs, locations aren't really treated that way, they are more general explorable areas. The Neo Bowser Castles were merged for the concept being similar, so that's one reason why I would oppose splitting all these. Nightwicked Bowser 16:05, May 6, 2023 (EDT)
- Very late reply, but I strongly agree that this page's RPG appearances should be split up; even if they are seen as "general areas" in some sense, they are also distinct game levels that can be considered somewhat comparable to a level or world in a platformer (for which versions of Bowser's Castle are split up). -- Pseudo (talk, contributions) 14:37, October 5, 2024 (EDT)
- This article is big enough that it could be broken up like the "History of X" pages at least, though I think The Super Mario Bros. Movie version should be its own article because it's an outright merger of the castle and airship concepts. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:43, October 5, 2024 (EDT)
What happens if you fail to escape Bowser's Castle within 3 minutes after Prince Peasley planted a timebomb on it? (Superstar Saga)
Do you get an instant Game Over?--ToadMushroom823 (talk) 04:49, November 5, 2024 (EST)
- Yes, you do. Nightwicked Bowser 15:30, November 5, 2024 (EST)
- In the GBA version at least, you see the same animation of the castle up until the point where you'd normally see Bowser fly out, where it cuts to white instead. Then you automatically restart at your last save. LinkTheLefty (talk) 02:02, November 9, 2024 (EST)
