World 7-5 is the fifth level of Pipe Land in Super Mario Bros. 3, becoming accessible after the player has cleared World 7-3. While its own completion does not open another level, completing World 7-5 will allow the player to access a Toad House.
Layout
The player starts in an area with three Warp Pipes, all of which lead to the main underground area. The underground area is a labyrinth made up of several Warp Pipes that lead between the upper and lower areas and several Hidden Blocks that can help or hinder the player.
The first room is a small area with two Koopa Paratroopas, followed by another room with red Koopa Troopas on some Brick Blocks. Entering the pipe to the right will take the player into the actual maze. First is a narrow hall with Bob-ombs the player can use to break Brick Blocks and some White Blocks the player can throw. In order to continue through the maze, the player needs to jump at the second gap in the upper path to reveal hidden blocks and then take the third pipe from the right and jump up onto the above ledge; taking the first pipe will lead to a Super Leaf power-up and the second pipe will lead to a 1-Up Mushroom, though the player cannot jump onto the above ledge from these paths. After jumping up onto the ledge from the third pipe, the player can go left to find a Fire Flower, though they will have to loop back around if they do so, or go right to continue through the maze. To the right is a single Brick Block within the wall the player can break by using a Super Leaf power-up or a Koopa Shell, though if the player is unable to break the block, they will have to go through the Warp Pipe below it and go through the room to the next pipe, which will lead beyond the wall. In this room, the player has to reveal hidden blocks to the right of the upper-most platform, then go down the Warp Pipe below and reveal the hidden blocks to the far right. After hitting all the blocks, the player needs to go back to the upper-most platform, use the first set of revealed blocks as a bridge, go down the next Warp Pipe (above which is a hidden 1-Up Mushroom), use the second set of revealed blocks as a bridge, and then enter the final Warp Pipe to reach the goal.
