What's up with this identifier? Why not just "Mushroom Kingdom (Adventure Mode)"? Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 15:33, August 24, 2024 (EDT)
- Probably because "Adventure Mode" is a mode in several games, of which the Mushroom Kingdom is a setting. Super Mario RPG (talk) 15:50, August 24, 2024 (EDT)
- I was thinking of it being along the lines of Ghost (Wario Land II boss) and Ghost (Wario Land II enemy) when I made it, but yes, that is the reason. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:06, August 24, 2024 (EDT)
- Is this only instance of a comma in an identifier on this wiki? It's certainly unusual. What other games have an "Adventure Mode"? If none of the Mushroom Kingdom areas in those could really be called "stages" and we need to be specific, then I'd suggest "Mushroom Kingdom (Adventure Mode stage)". SolemnStormcloud (talk) 16:41, August 24, 2024 (EDT)
- Diddy Kong Racing's single player campaign mode is referred to as "Adventure Mode". It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 13:25, August 25, 2024 (EDT)
- Does Diddy Kong Racing feature a subject called "Mushroom Kingdom", though? Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 04:26, August 26, 2024 (EDT)

- I think the comma can just be omitted, like "Wario Land II boss", not "Wario Land II, boss". Mario JC 01:44, August 30, 2024 (EDT)
- But if "Wario Land II boss" means a boss from Wario Land II, "Super Smash Bros. Melee Adventure Mode" would imply that this subject is an Adventure Mode from Super Smash Bros. Melee. I prefer "Adventure Mode stage" as SolemnStormcloud suggested. Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 06:17, August 30, 2024 (EDT)
- Does World of Light have a Mushroom Kingdom in it? It's SSBU's Adventure Mode and I know it has maps from several games, but I don't know any specifics of it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:01, August 30, 2024 (EDT)
- That's true, never mind then.
- No, World of Light didn't have one. Mario JC 13:13, August 30, 2024 (EDT)

Would anyone be against moving this to "Mushroom Kingdom (Adventure Mode)"? This seems very similar to the "(Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Nintendo Switch)" thing from a while back where the double-disambiguation really isn't necessary here. jan Misali (talk · contributions) 17:35, October 17, 2024 (EDT)
- I'd be down for that. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:32, October 17, 2024 (EDT)
- Yeah, that seems like the best title to me. Mario JC 08:16, October 21, 2024 (EDT)
- I agree with that too. Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 04:03, October 23, 2024 (EDT)
