Layout
In this autoscrolling sky level, the player first jumps on one of the backs of a giant green Jumbo Ray. They have platforms to help them just in case they lose a Jumbo Ray. There are also Propeller Blocks that help them. There are a lot of Bullet Bills in the level that are fired at the player from off-screen. After halfway, the player continues jumping on Jumbo Rays and avoiding Bullet Bills. Near the end, they can travel through a Warp Pipe that takes them to the pole, where the level ends.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is floating high up in the area where the Bullet Bills start to appear. Mario and co. should fall to it, then make it to safety either with the nearby Propeller Block, or by jumping off a Bullet Bill.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is also floating in the area where the Bullet Bills begin to appear, albeit after the midway point. It can be obtained the same way as the first one, although a Propeller Suit is an additional option.
- Star Coin 3: Near the end of the level, there are several coins in the shape of a "W", near the final POW Block. Mario and co. should wait for a Jumbo Ray to fly under the coins, then activate the POW Block so that the third Star Coin will fall onto the Jumbo Ray and become obtainable.
