Seesaw Shrooms, or Meringue Clouds-2, is the second course of Meringue Clouds in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is unlocked via completion of Land of Flying Blocks and its own completion unlocks Slide Lift Tower. The seventh and final Nabbit chase of the game occurs here.

In Challenge Mode, this level is used in Rickety Sprint.

Layout

Like Mushroom Heights, this course is an athletic course with many Mushroom Platforms. This level begins with a row of Seesaw Shrooms, as well as a Fuzzy. A ? Block containing a Yoshi's Egg is found above the third Seesaw Shroom. Some Mushroom Platforms follow, and fruits can be found on bushes. More Seesaw Shrooms are found, along with a Fuzzy and some Paragoombas. Warp Pipes containing Piranha Plants are between some of the Seesaw Shrooms. The Checkpoint Flag is then found. A row of Mushroom Platforms follows, and Koopa Troopas, Spinies, and Fuzzies are encountered. A Lakitu also appears in this section of the level. Some Seesaw Shrooms are located above Mushroom Platforms. A section containing Stretch Shrooms and Fuzzies on tracks leads up to a final Seesaw Shroom and the Goal Pole.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is underneath a row of Brick Blocks. A Yoshi's Flutter Jump is required to reach it.
  • Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is in the middle of a group of spinning coins. Lakitu's Cloud is required to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: Above a Stretch Shroom is a green Warp Pipe that leads to the area with the third Star Coin. The player needs Yoshi's Flutter Jump, a Super Acorn, a Super Crown, or Lakitu's Cloud to reach the Warp Pipe, then Yoshi or the power-ups again or a high wall kick to reach the Star Coin.
