Since 2008, 16 years ago, there's been a fact written on this page claiming that this course was originally known as "Cheep Cheep Shore" during development. This fact has since been circulating online as a fun fact about the course (even appearing on The Shroom at one point!).
However, upon discovering this fact, and doing research into it, it turns out that the fact is completely not true, never has been. It was seemingly completely made up in 2008 and went unnoticed for sixteen years. At least that's the conclusion I came to.
