Mario & Luigi: Brothership is an upcoming game of the Mario & Luigi series for the Nintendo Switch planned for release on November 7, 2024. First announced during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct, it is the sixth original installment in the Mario & Luigi series, the ninth installment overall, the first original Mario & Luigi game since Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, release over eight years prior, the first installment on a home console, and the first game since original series developer AlphaDream's bankruptcy in 2019.
