1. LeftyGreenMario (talk) Ah, Super Mario 64, you and your article stood poorly to the test of time. Baby Luigi and I decided to add a rewrite-expand template to the article in good faith. This article is incredibly short for a game with a lot of content, so we decided to investigate why. The most important glaring weakness this article is the lack of item information. Something basic like Cork Blocks, Coins, Red Coins, Blue Coins, ! Switches, ! Blocks, and 1-Up Mushrooms are nowhere to be found in this article (except for a red coin maze for Rainbow Ride's description). That failure to cover a basic game mechanic alone warrants this article immediately unfeatured. Second, the abilities and courses are told in bare-bones description. Compare this to Super Mario 64 DS. This article has one-liners for each world while the remake's article has locations for all stars, including secrets. Finally, the trivia section, as indicated by the template, is too long. Overall, this article is barren and incomplete and is not the best Super Mario Wiki has to offer.
