Unlikely Heroes is the first level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It serves as a tutorial to the game's basic gameplay. Being the first level, it is the first time that Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Luigi are playable in the game, and it also features the first appearance of Ziggies.

Layout[edit]

Being the first level in the game, the first battle stage takes place in an area with two HP-padded Ziggies, and Beep-0 explains how 100% and 50% cover affect weapon ranges.

The second, more expansive stage features two more Ziggies with the normal amount of health, as well as 0% cover. It also introduces movement to the player.
