I've personally played through the entire game in English, with the system region set to Europe, and I can confirm first-hand that the game consistently uses only American spellings. As such, I presume the
en_gb=y
part in the infobox should likely be removed. [[User:DandelionSprout|DandelionSprout]] ([[User talk:DandelionSprout|talk]]) 02:55, April 2, 2024 (EDT)

Possible Cowgirl Peach...?

Someone on Twitter pointed this out, but based on the theatre lobby, which appears to be this game's hub world, one of the icons shows what appears to be a western hat, and the narrator in the trailer also states that more transformations than just the four shown off are in the game. So there's a chance that we might (emphases on "might") be getting a cowgirl transformation for Peach. Defefefe (talk) 11:43, September 16, 2023 (EST)

There's also a ninja kunai dagger symbol visible, implying a ninja transformation (which has been rumoured). And we see as Peach enters the first door where she becomes Swordfighter Peach, there's her sword symbol above the door. I wonder how we can incorporate this information onto the page without being too speculative about her transformation outfit. MarioComix (talk) 20:23, September 16, 2023 (EDT)
I think we should wait to add anything like this until there's another trailer for the game or an official statement about more transformations for Peach. -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 14:08, November 12, 2023 (EST)
Oh I know, I wasn't saying add it to the page, I was just making an observation is all. Defefefe (talk) 16:48, November 14, 2023 (EST)
I was more replying to what MarioComix said, as they mentioned perhaps adding the info to the page when we have almost nothing to go off of. No offense, MarioComix, I think your statements are very solid in evidence. We can add this info once we get an official Nintendo statement that proves it to be true (I hope we do soon!). Thank you both for your thoughts! -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 23:46, November 15, 2023 (EST)

Well, seems like the Ninja and Cowgirl transformations ended up being true as revealed in today's trailer. Defefefe (talk) 13:19, January 23, 2024 (EST)

Japanese fans' reaction to the new boxart

I'd like to add the reaction shown by Japanese fans to the new boxart, that was not exactly positive.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Donkey Yusuf (talk).

The entire scope of the criticism is very limited. That shared article's extent of criticism is just several baseless and cherry-picked one-liner social media posts, many even contradicting with others, and no legitimate professional criticisms should illustrate it. The country of origin is irrelevant here too; we have plenty of American criticisms for American media, particularly of culture war variety, that are social media posts on fleeting topics that fade to irrelevancy quickly. Additionally, just because it's used in Wikipedia doesn't necessarily indicate it's a reliable source. I've actually looked at the articles being shared. The author "primal"[1] is not a credible media critic or a journalist, having written plenty of articles on the appearance of women's breasts on anime figures or panty shots of some female characters, if not writing articles that consist entirely of argumentative social media posts. Due to poor curation, I would not recommend using any content from Niche Gamer as sources. It's not considered reliable by Wikipedia either.[2] Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. Fate of PPS demo?

I dunno if this belongs here, but with Nintendo Live 2024 canceled, what do you guys think this may mean for the supposed demo for PPS? Defefefe (talk) 11:34, December 7, 2023 (EST)

Music Letimotifs

As the title says, I have heard on Princess Peach: Showtime!! on Kung Fu Peach part but the motif seems to be familiar, it just looked like Super Mario Galaxy Title Music Motif for me. It is just me or coincidence on other Super Mario motifs? ExoRosalina (talk) 8:34, January 24, 2024 (PST)

I just listened to it, and it doesn't sound like the title screen theme. I can see where you got the idea from though. Thanks for mentioning it! -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. Also, there is more regarding Figure Skater Peach part, I listened it and the music is so very familiar and it looks like Sunshine Airport from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe motif. I am not sure if Mermaid Peach part has it's on motif due to the chords or accompaniment letimotif. -- ExoRosalina (talk) 13:10, February 15, 2024 (PST)
Hmm, maybe. I'll listen to it later and get back to you. -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. Actually, yes! The music that plays does sound reminiscent of the Sunshine Airport music! It doesn't bear enough resemblance to add it to the Trivia section, but it's still interesting to note. Thanks for bringing this up; I don't think anyone else would have considered it! -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. Also all of the costume transformations share the same jingle, just like how Super Mario World level themes share the same jingles. I wonder where that information can fit? Derekblue1(talk)Daisy Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga-styled sprite 05:23, March 29, 2024 (EDT)
I think I would say yes, so I am not sure it will count as references because everytime we also heard. Also, most of the people heard if it is related to Super Mario Galaxy or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe motifs. -- ExoRosalina (talk) 5:41, March 31, 2024 (PST)
I don't think that the transformations sharing jingles is related to the Super Mario World levels sharing jingles. A lot of games have the same themes for levels, so I don't think it's notable enough to add. -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. FanOfRosalina2007Artwork of Princess Peach for Mario Party: The Top 100 (talk · edits) 22:13, March 30, 2024 (EDT)
That is correct, because I never stated they are related. I used Super Mario World as an example because people know that the levels share the similar melody, same with Super Mario 64 levels. The whole point I am stating is that Peach's transformations share the same melodies in their themes, while they are modified from one another. Last four transformations?

So, I'm not sure if leaks are allowed to be posted on here (as I'm still kinda new to this wiki), but I was looking on Twitter and discovered that the last four transformations for this game were accidently leaked online: https://twitter.com/PrincessPeachTo/status/1757612929208512973

The transformations are Mermaid Peach, Figure Skater Peach, Mighty Peach and Dashing Thief Peach

I'm not sure if we should add these or not, as again they were accidently leaked. Defefefe (talk) 07:10, February 14, 2024 (EST)

I have also seen these in Twitter and I'm convinced that it's legit, but I think we should wait until we can use a more reliable source before we include them here. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 08:20, February 14, 2024 (EST)
The link I found this on said something about February 14 (aka, today), so we might be getting another trailer that shows these transformations off, but yeah, we'd better wait and see. Defefefe (talk) 08:37, February 14, 2024 (EST)

Well, just like that, we get a new trailer with these transformations XD Defefefe (talk) 10:19, February 14, 2024 (EST)

Ninja Peach Description

Would someone be able to change Ninja Peach’s description in the transformations section? Someone accidentally put the swordfighter description. It should say: “Hide in the scenery using props, jump wall to wall, and take out foes with kunai as an agile ninja. Move swiftly and strike!” (Source: the official North American site for Princess Peach: Showtime!) Thanks! :) Insaniot (talk) 02:37, February 19, 2024 (EST)

Mario Bros 3 reference?

After watching the demo for the game, I noticed that the music cue for loading screens is very similar to the one from the opening cutscene from Mario Bros 3. Do you think it's worthy enough to be added? Defefefe (talk) 08:15, March 7, 2024 (EST)

No it's probably not. SMB3 used a play theme and so did PP:S. Not really a coincidence. Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wonder Time! Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Grape in "Supporting Characters"

I don't believe that Grape is a "supporting" character :P 174.179.87.30 14:51, March 8, 2024 (EST) SquireTurnbolt

That could be untrue that Grape is a supporting character, but let's wait until the actual game comes out. Then we'll be able to tell for sure. -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. She’s not a a supporting character. I own the game and she is the main antagonist and final boss and needs to be moved to be the enemies section. Could someone do that for me? ‘Cause I tried moving it and… it did not go well. Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wonder Time! Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Same date for both the game and SSBU Spirit Event

One particular Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event will be held on the same date as the game's release (which features Spirits from said game). So, what can we put in their infoboxes (Stella and Swordfighter Peach)? Juju1995 (talk) 15:18, March 20, 2024 (EDT)

Most likely give priority to Princess Peach Showtime, as stated here the Smash event will release at some point after the game has come out (I tried to do a proposal on this which went nowhere). Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 15:48, March 20, 2024 (EDT)

Could I help?

Me and my siblings pooled our money together and bought this game this morning. Is there any specific way in this article that needs verification or something akin to that? Why don't you play the game and see if you can help out? Even a little bit goes a long way, if you'll pardon the expression. -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. Super Mario RPG Switch Version

When Peach is near a Theet that is dancing she will also dance along with it and it looks similar to the dance she does when someone levels up in Mario RPG so could that be added to the references to other games?
The preceding unsigned comment was added by OngoingTalent13 (talk).

Doing a dance alone isn't strong enough to be a reference. If they are similar then it's most likely coincidental. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 05:33, March 24, 2024 (EDT)
Speaking of coincidence, is it a coincidence that Geno, in post-game content, can get the STELLA 023? Or the WONDER Chomp? I feel like that was intentional on Nintendo’s side and we should mention that in the RPG article. Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wonder Time! Artwork of a Wonder Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder
@Wonder Time!: That's a coincidence for sure. There's no real reason why they'd make something that trivial a reference, in my opinion. -- Artwork of Rosalina used for her amiibo. The game has no British English support.

I've personally played through the entire game in English, with the system region set to Europe, and I can confirm first-hand that the game consistently uses only American spellings. As such, I presume the en_gb=y part in the infobox should likely be removed. DandelionSprout (talk) 02:55, April 2, 2024 (EDT)
