Tree Top Town is the twelfth level of Donkey Kong Country, and the second level of the Vine Valley area on Donkey Kong Island.
The level is set in a village built in the treetops of the forests of Vine Valley. In Tree Top Town, houses and walkways are made of wood, and are tacked or bound with ropes to the enormous tree trunks. The town seems to be quite widespread, as the background shows several huts, and even tall wooden ladders. The Kongs must be careful when using the Barrel Cannons here, as there are many gaps between walkways. There are also Gnawtys, Neckys and blue Kritters to make their job a little harder.
