Regional differences in VS. Pinball
I'm not sure if anyone else has done the research on this topic so I'll post it here. There are two versions for the VS. System, one for Japan and another for the rest of the world. The Japanese version will have the copyright of "Nintendo Co., Ltd.", while the international version will simply say "Nintendo". The character that returns the extra ball is different. In the Japanese version it is Achilles from Family BASIC, but in the international version it is Bubbles from Clu Clu Land. Arcade Archives chose the Japanese version for their release. Here are some videos:
- International version gameplay
- International version on an actual machine
- Japanese version gameplay, this video was posted before the Arcade Archives release.
