Candle Bear is Mona's boss microgame in WarioWare: Move It! it involves using the Sky Stretch pose.
Gameplay
The player as Candle Bear has to protect their candles from being extinguished by the ants. The Ants will try to extinguish the flames by pouring water on it from a bucket, squirting it with a hose, or summoning rainclouds to make it rain on the candles. If one candle goes out, the player can relight it by putting the still lit candle to the extinguished one, however if both Candles go out, Candle Bear despairs, the Ants prepare to eat the cake and the Microgame is lost. After surviving for a period of time a cannon appears and it’s fuse is covered in a giant ice block. The player must melt the ice block and light the fuse all while avoiding the ant’s attempts to extinguish their candles. If the player can fire the cannon they will win the microgame.
- Level 1: The ants are not too aggressive with their water attacks, there are very few of them and there are many safe spots to hold the candles as a result, the Raincloud can be summoned by the Boss Ant, but it usually has at least one safe spot so you can easily keep both candles lit.
- Level 2: The ants are more aggressive, and they attack more often making there be less safe spots than before, the raincloud also covers the entire left or right half of the screen ensuring that the candle on that side will be extinguished.
- Level 3: The ants are very aggressive and many of them will attack the candles at the same time or one after the other, they also track the movement of the candles more closely. This makes it a lot harder to avoid the water attacks and there are very few safe spots to hold the candles. Like in Level 2 when Rainclouds are summoned they cover the entire left or right half guaranteeing that the candle on that side will be extinguished.
