Ladida Plains

Over View

Ladida Plains is an area of Vibe Island, found in the game Super Princess Peach. It is a plain located in the southern portion of the island and is one of the lowest lands (by sea level). It is the first world that Princess Peach encountered in the game.

Levels

Basics

Each level of Super Princess Peach have a total of 3 Toads trapped inside of pink blocks with "!" hidden throughout the levels.There are also blocks with music notes inside that can be collected and added to the music room (like a sound test) on the map menu. In certain levels, Peach will find upgrades for Perry. And at the end of each level, there is a goal post with a roulette. Depending on what it stops on, will determine how many extra coins Peach will get:

1.Turnip- 1 coin

2.Mushroom- 10 coins

3.Flower- 40 coins

4.Star- 50 coins

5.Peach (a fruit)- 100 coins

Ladida Plains 1-1

The first level lays out the basis of the game. There are many Perry Blocks that will give you hints about the controles. The three goombas types are the only enemies in this level. The first Toad is inside of a box in the second section of the level before a pipe. In the third section, there is a Toad underneith the exit pipe. The final Toad is in the third section near the enterance.

Items

• In the section room, there is a music note above the enterance pipe. Peach must find a flower stem and use her gloom vibe to grow it allowing her to reach it. It contains Peach voice 1.

Boss Battle

Like all other areas of the game, Ladida Plains is made of five levels followed by a boss challenge. To reach the boss for the first time, Peach must complete a stylus challenge. The Player must stretch the platforms to make Peach jump without getting hit by Sad Paragoombas. After she has completed the mission, she will see a lone Toad encased in a bubble. With relief, the princess runs over only to be stopped in here tracks as Petey Piranha appears and swallows the toad whole. He then roars at her and the battle begins.

Petey Piranha

To defeat her foe, the princess must fill the plant with water (her tears of gloom). He will open his mouth and and prepare to use an attack after unleashing a set amount of moves. That is her chance. Once he has been "hydrated", he will lie on the ground and his belly button (his known weak spot) will be visible. Peach would have to jump onto his stomach to damage him. As the battle progress, the princess will have less and less opportunities to attack.

Attacks

The boss of Ladida Plains has a variety of attacks:

• An ear-splitting roar that will damage Peach if she is too close to him.

• Shock waves that will speed across the ground at a high pace.

• If Peach takes too long to spray water into Petey's mouth, he will spit out Nipper Plants and a Vibe Crystal.

• Once her foe is down to 2 hit points (represented by skulls), he will fly up into the air and turn red. He will

be quicker and hop around between attacks. His attacks will also be faster and stronger.

Trivia

• The boss of Ladida Plains was originally going to be Iggy Koopa. However he had been replaced before the game was released.
