The course ends with a rope bridge, hanging high above a canyon, that leads to the starting/finish line. Boulders fall throughout much of the race, knocking karts off the course. Strangely, DK Mountain has a pair of eyes that look over the course. DK Mountain also appears in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]''. The bridge is different. There are now ramps. And some of the deep grass was replaced with mud.

DK Mountain is a racecourse in the Star Cup of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. The course starts on a hilly slope. When racers reach the top of the hill, they enter a giant cannon, which shoots the drivers to the top of an angry volcano. Racers gradually drive down the mountain, swerving around a lot of sharp turns along the way.
