Kurogane released its first collection of Super Mario-themed furniture in 1986. It was based on the video game Super Mario Bros., and the collection included:

Alongside the collection included a Mario Party 2-themed garbage bin and desk mat respectively priced at 2,200 and 3,500 yen.[10]
