:Thanks for the encouragement! I've went ahead and changed most of the introductions for each section, although I feel like some of them would read in a less straightforward way if they were changed (and it also helps for variety), so I left those the same. I've also significantly improved the writing of the ''WarioWare Gold'' section and shortened the ''WarioWare: Get It Together!'' section. {{User:ThePowerPlayer/sig}} 16:53, May 24, 2023 (EDT) |

Hey, make sure the aboutfile information you put in your uploads is also transferred to your new file before the file you requested gets deleted. I saw you did add aboutfile information for some updated files, but don't forget any! It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 01:07, June 23, 2022 (EDT)
Replacement uploads
Hello, if you're uploading an image that's meant to replace another one of the same format (e.g. png replacing another png), you don't need to upload separately, just click on the "Upload a new version of this file" link on the old file page under "File history". If you need to rename, click on the "move" tab at the top of the file page. Mario JC 07:03, June 23, 2022 (EDT)
March of the Minis images
I noticed you've been working on March of the Minis lately, so I wanted to ask you something about the game's level images. Is there a reason to keep the top screen? The top screens of those images all have basically the same content on them (the MINIMARIO cards, SCORE 000000, TIME BONUS: 300, etc.), with the only real relevant thing in them being the icons indicating the number of Mini-Marios present in a level, information that be can presented through a simple number on the level charts while taking up a lot less unnecessary space. Therefore, I was thinking about reuploading those images without the top screen. Thoughts? 14:02, June 29, 2022 (EDT)
- I kept the top screen for the level images for consistency with the images already uploaded for Spooky Attic, as well as the images for levels from Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! The top screen doesn't add anything especially important in that game, either, but any existing level screenshots for both games already used the full resolution of the system, and I'd probably rather show the entire system anyway to be accurate to what the player sees during gameplay.
Alternatively, though, we could crop all of those screenshots to only the Touch Screen and display any relevant top screen information separately, including the Mini count and the objects in the inventory the player starts each level with. That would make the actual content of each level more visible in the preview images on the world pages for each game. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 14:20, June 29, 2022 (EDT)- Cropping the screenshots to Touch Screen only is what I had in mind. 14:40, June 29, 2022 (EDT)
- If that's the case, I could definitely crop those screenshots to the Touch Screen only and display top screen information separately, though it would take a while to do for every level in both games. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 14:44, June 29, 2022 (EDT)
- We could split the work to get it done faster. Since you're already working on March of the Minis anyway, I'll do the Mini-Land Mayhem ones. 14:58, June 29, 2022 (EDT)
- Sounds like a plan! --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 15:07, June 29, 2022 (EDT)

Barbell
Those also appear with the same role in the Game Boy Donkey Kong, so an article may be in order. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:46, July 5, 2022 (EDT)
- I was considering making an article about them even without the knowledge that they appear in Donkey Kong (Game Boy), but now I'm sure to make it! Thanks for letting me know. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 21:47, July 5, 2022 (EDT)
DK boss stage names
Why are you using conjectural names for the DK boss stages when they have official ones? 13:37, July 17, 2022 (EDT)
- I wanted to keep some consistency with the names of the other levels in each world., although you're probably right in thinking that the Boss Game notifications displayed during each boss battle are the correct names of the levels. I would happily look for proof against that, in order to keep the names consistent, but the only reasonable source I could think of for the names of the boss levels is the Shogakukan guide book for the game, which I can't reasonably access. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 13:47, July 17, 2022 (EDT)
- English names take priority over Japanese ones anyway, so the Shogakukan guide doesn't really matter in regards to how we title the article. Plus, the Japanese versions have their own in-game text, so we wouldn't even need the guide for a names in other languages section. 13:57, July 17, 2022 (EDT)
- Fair points. Guess I'll go ahead and change every instance of Room #-DK to Boss Game # instead. That's on me for using the incorrect names for this long. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 14:17, July 17, 2022 (EDT)
- On that note, please use the "Move" function in the future (next to the "Edit" and "History" tabs) instead of performing what's called a "cut-and-paste move". If a page move is obstructed by a redirect, just tag it for deletion. Thanks! (T|C) 16:03, July 17, 2022 (EDT)
- My apologies. I'll make sure to use the "Move" function from now on. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 16:13, July 17, 2022 (EDT)

Reminder
Please stop making unconstructive edits on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Do not perform any major action--in this case, merging the page Big Chomp and Little Chomp with another article--without community consensus; your previous attempt to merge said page with Game Guy's Sweet Surprise was revoked, and so far, the discussion you've initiated here on this matter has only had one other user weighing in. Generally, the most effective way to acquire consensus on a subject is through a proposal. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:48, August 11, 2022 (EDT)
- My sincere apologies. I'll create a proposal on the talk page of Big Chomp and Little Chomp in order to generate a community consensus before proceeding any further with merging the article or any other major action involving the article. --ThePowerPlayer (talk) 12:05, August 11, 2022 (EDT)
On moving
When you rename a page, make sure that you mark any previous talk pages for deletion. You can also use Special:WhatLinksHere to clean up redirecting links, since it is usually the mover's responsibility - it's best to move template links and wait for the list to refresh after a while. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:09, August 21, 2022 (EDT)
- Understood. I'll make sure to mark unnecessary talk page redirects with the deletion template in the future. ThePowerPlayer 15:05, August 21, 2022 (EDT)
Wario Marble maze game
Thank you for putting the in-flash-game lines describing wario and the other employees. I've put the dr. crygor one in his profile and stats page PnnyCrygr 23:13, April 28, 2023 (EDT)
- No problem! I'll go ahead and add the profiles for the other characters to their respective articles. ThePowerPlayer 12:03, April 29, 2023 (EDT)
Most thanks!
Hey! We just noticed the huge scrubbing you gave the Mega Microgame$ article, and we just wanted to thank you so much for helping out in fixing jank writing on that thing. Admittedly, we were a little worried we were letting a bit too much pass by by just being blind to how weird some sentences were after having worked on the same article for so long (y'know, the sort of thing where you start to glaze over text you've read over and over), but you were able to help out tremendously in that regard by giving it another look. So, thank you for helping out with something we inherently couldn't! ~Camwoodstock (talk) 19:33, May 17, 2023 (EDT)
- No problem! I've had the same problem from time to time, but it helps to take a break and come back after a while. I definitely think the improvements you've made on top of my fixes have restored the article back to the quality of a featured article. ThePowerPlayer 19:38, May 17, 2023 (EDT)
Microrequest?
Power, I might suggest you to please do improving edits to the wario ware character (i.e. Ninevolt, Doc Crueger, etc.) article text. Thanks for the information. PnnyCrygr 20:48, May 17, 2023 (EDT)
- Sure! I'll take a look at the WarioWare character articles in my spare time. ThePowerPlayer 21:45, May 17, 2023 (EDT)
MarioWiki's most important article
I noticed you poured a lot of work into it! Appreciate it. Can I suggest something for the article History of Wario you are working hard on? Instead of saying "Wario appears in x" say "In x game, Wario does this and this". It prevents repetitive writing and it also implicitly states Wario appeared in the game. For instance, I'll change from this
- Wario appears in Super Mario Maker as one of several costumes available for the Mystery Mushroom in the Super Mario Bros. style, wearing his outfit from the WarioWare series.
to this
- In Super Mario Maker, Wario is one of the several costumes available for the Mystery Mushroom in the Super Mario Bros. style, wearing his outfit from the WarioWare series.
Happy editing from yours most beloated, Mario! (free Wario not included) It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:14, May 23, 2023 (EDT)
- I forgot that I put the X appears in format in the Dr crigor article (history section) which I have wroked on. I agree that "appears in" format is redundant. PnnyCrygr 23:51, May 23, 2023 (EDT)
