Marrakech (Arabic: مراكش, Murrākuš; Berber: ⴰⵎⵓⵔⴰⴽⵓⵛ, Meṛṛakec) is one of the largest cities in Morocco, Africa. Along with Athens, Madrid, Mexico City, and Paris, it is one of the five cities in the PC version of Mario is Missing! Luigi has to visit in order to defeat Roy Koopa. Just like all the other cities in Mario is Missing!, Marrakech was invaded by Koopa Troopa, who stole artifacts from various local landmarks: a Cobra from the Jemaa-el-Fna Marketplace, a Gold Globe from the Koutoubia mosque, a Carved Tile from the Saadian Tombs, and a Camel Saddle from the Ourika Camel Market. Without these items, each of the landmarks were forced to close. Luigi rescues the city by finding the stolen artifacts and returning them to their respective landmarks.
Information from Mario is Missing!
- Scientist: "Marrakech was founded as an artistic center in 1062 AD, and has been pretty colorful ever since."
