Hollow Bastion
Hollow Bastion, in its standard form, with the castle in the background

Hollow Bastion is a downloadable stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, released on October 18, 2021 along with Sora. It is set on a platform that floats around the Hollow Bastion castle from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The stage was announced on the same day as Sora, on October 5, 2021.

The platform begins at Rising Falls before floating towards the castle. Different characters, locations and miscellaneous references to the Kingdom Hearts series appear in the background of the stage. If either time is running low in the battle or a player has a low stock count, the stage transitions into a different, darker environment with the background featuring murals of characters from the series. This second part of the stage is based on the "Dive to the Heart" realm from the series.
