Mario's Tennis is a 1995 Virtual Boy game, the first in the Mario Tennis series. It was later followed by Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64. Every playable character in the game is also playable in the SNES game, Super Mario Kart. The only playable character in that game that isn't playable in this game is Bowser. This similarity may have been intentional, however there is a chance this was just a coincidence. Apparently, there was going to be a two-player option, but it was never put in since the cable used to connect two Virtual Boys together, was never released due poor sales on the Virtual Boy's part.
