(Even though this page says that the "wifi" parameter should be used "whether in Mario Kart DS or Mario Kart Wii only" (as every other MK game supports wifi either for every track, or for none) there are various pages that use this parameter to cover if the wifi is available in other games aside from those two, even on courses that appear exclusively on MK8, for example. As the point of this parameter is just about the WFC, putting that instead of a general "Wi-Fi" to evade misunderstandings.) |

Usage instructions
This infobox shows the general info about a race/battle course from the Mario Kart series (and other racing games):
- Title: Optional, usually the title of the box goes with the title of the article.
- Image: Put an image available of the course.
- Appears in: Appearances of a course in the Mario Kart series (this counts the reappearances as well).
- Cups: Cups in which the course appears. Edit every Cup respecting to the order of the Appearances list. Not to be used for Mario Kart Tour appearances (see this proposal).
- Tours: Tours in which the course appears. Used only for the courses that appear in Mario Kart Tour.
- Based on: Sometimes the course is inspired by certain elements from other series (use a reference if it's necessary).
- Ghost: The ghost that appears in the course in Time Trial mode. Add the key name of the ghost if it's necessary.
- Expert Ghost: The Expert Staff Ghost that appears for the course in Time Trial Mode. Use only for the courses that appear in Mario Kart Wii.
- Distance: The length of the track. Use only for the courses that appear in Mario Kart 64.
- Wifi: The default availability of the course in Wi-Fi mode, whether in Mario Kart DS or Mario Kart Wii only.
- Sample: Upload a sample of the track's music.
- Map: Show the layout of the course.
