Count Boomiere is the keeper of the Garnet Star and an optional boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is the leader of the Dark Boos inhabiting the Poshley Sanctum. In order to encounter the massive boo, Mario must ground-pound next to the curtains in the Poshley Sanctum to make Count Boomiere pop out. He well then engage in combat with Mario. In battle, Count Boomiere is a force to be reckoned with. He can turn invisible and call in Dark Boos to assist him in battle.
