Bowser's Castle is a basketball court in Mario Hoops 3-on-3, appearing as the third court of the Star Tourney. The court has numerous gimmicks, such as Thwomps occasionally appearing out of ? Panels. The Thwomps will immediately, after coming out of a ? Panel, fall down to crush anyone who gets close. Also, Lava Bubbles launch up from the lava and if any players touch them, they run around uncontrollably and on fire. Bombs do the same as well, but these ones are bigger. The music heard in this court is a cover of the Bowser's Castle theme from Super Mario Bros. Axes are used for hoop poles, referencing the weapon Mario uses to defeat Bowser in Super Mario Bros.
