Grammar
Please try to avoid combining sentences with "(comma) also"; that's known as a comma splice and is considered poor grammar (e.g. "3D Land returns, also Boom Boom and Pom Pom appear as a spirit.") In cases like this, you should start a new sentence (e.g. "3D Land returns. Also, Boom Boom and Pom Pom appear as a spirit.") The first word after a comma (except proper nouns) also shouldn't be capitalised. Mario JC 19:58, February 2, 2020 (EST)
MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Italicizing titles
Please remember to italicise game titles (format titles like Super Mario Galaxy as Super Mario Galaxy). Mario JC 19:48, February 21, 2020 (EST)
- You've forgot this again. Please regard the above comment. Doomhiker (talk) 20:43, February 21, 2020 (EST)
- Also, please don't use the term "Smash 4" as it's a colloquial fan term. It should be referred to as Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Mario JC 20:45, February 21, 2020 (EST)
Hello, Jrpierre123! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes. |

Character-specific trivia
Information on specific characters and actors belongs on their articles, not the articles for the games themselves. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 17:36, March 12, 2021 (EST)
