Lakipeas are the Beanbean Kingdom counterparts of the Lakitus, as seen in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The two creatures are nearly identical, the only differences being that the Lakipea has a sprout on its head and a vine-covered cloud. Lakipeas toss Sharpeas at passersby. During battle, Lakipea throws Sharpea Eggs at Mario and Luigi; however, these eggs will bounce over the brothers' heads, and will not harm them as long as they do not jump.
Their name is a combination of the word "Lakitu," the enemy they closely resemble, and "pea," the beanlike vegetable.
