Cutting It Close is one of WarioWatch's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! It returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Penny's microgames. The name is a play on the idiom "cutting it close", meaning to do something before time is up.

Gameplay

The game's purpose is to shave Shades's face by moving the razor. If done so, the game is won.

The player starts off the game with five seconds.

  • 1st level difficulty: Shades's face has a small amount of hair. He smiles when the game is won.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Shades's face has more hair. He smiles with a gap in his teeth when the game is won.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Shades's face has a bigger amount of hair. His nose drips with nasal mucus and he smiles when the game is won.
