Basically Mario Power Tennis for the Game Boy Advance. It brings back the RPG elements of its predecessor. It also has minigames having nothing to do with tennis.  Much to the disappointment of numerous gamers, Power Tour is not compatible with Mario Power Tennis like its golf counterpart.
Mario Tennis: Power Tour is a Game Boy Advance Game game in the Mario Tennis series. The main character wakes up in unfamiliar surroundings. His/her partner explains that the protagonist has enrolled at the Royal Tennis Academy, and she/he is the character's doubles partner. Having passed out the previous day during the Welcome Workout, the hero decides to get some breakfast. When they arrive at the restaurant, it is deserted and he/she finds out that masked challengers have challenged the top players. After hearing that masked players defeated the schools champions, he/she sets out to get top ranked, in order to enter the main tournament (The Island Open) so that they can discover the masked players' true identities.
The player, either Clay or Ace, is a student in the Royal Tennis Academy. After learning that six masked challengers have dethroned the Academy champions, Clay/Ace sets out with his or her doubles partner (either Clay or Ace; opposite of whatever character the player picked) to advance in tennis rankings to qualify entering the Island Open and find out who the masked characters are.

Clay and Ace advance through the academy, defeating the Junior, Senior, and Varsity classes to ensure their entry to the Island Open. After participating in, and winning the Island Open, the duo still have not found out who the masked tennis players are. Mario then reveals that he and other Mario characters were the masked players. Clay and Ace are then taken to the Mushroom Kingdom in Peach's Plane to play in the Peach Tournament. After winning the Peach Tournament, the game can be played again, with matches singles tennis matches instead of doubles.

*Chun-li From the Street Fighter series makes a cameo as a playable character in the island open (As Mel)
*Many of the Power Shots in Mario Tennis: Power Tour resemble psynergies from the Golden Sun series, such as a fire dragon and a big, massive fist.

Trivia
*Many mainstream characters such as Wario and Yoshi do not make appearances in this title.
*Alex, Harry, Nina, and Kate, from Mario Tennis appear as coaches in the Academy.
*This also marks the only time Waluigi has appeared in-game without Wario. His presence in this game is probably tied in to Waluigi's first appearance in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64
*Willy's Power Shots resemble psynergies from the Golden Sun series. Camelot, the maker of the game, also made the Golden Sun series, so this is most likely a nod to that.
*There is an NPC in the clean-up crew after the Island Open celebration that resembles Link.  He is located near the top of the screen when the player wakes up on the field.
*Mel's looks are strongly based on the looks of Chun-li from the Street Fighter series.
*If an error is caused while playing multiplayer mode, an image of Mario leaving Yoshi to ride Luigi is seen. This is the only appearance Yoshi has in the game.
*This marks the only time Waluigi has appeared in-game without Wario (though Wario can be heard saying "Nintendo" in the game's opening). His presence in this game is probably tied in to Waluigi's first appearance in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64.

Mario Tennis: Power Tour is a Game Boy Advance Game game in the Mario Tennis series. It is very similiar to Mario Tennis for the Game Boy Color, though it is not compatible with Mario Power Tennis, while Mario Tennis (GBC) is compatible with Mario Tennis. The game also includes Power Shots, similiar to Mario Power Tennis.

Plot

Playable Characters

 • Clay - Power (Hero/Partner)
 • Ace - Technique (Heroine/Partner)

Trivia

 • Alex, Harry, Nina, and Kate, from Mario Tennis appear as coaches in the Academy.
 • Willy's Power Shots resemble psynergies from the Golden Sun series. Camelot, the maker of the game, also made the Golden Sun series, so this is most likely a nod to that.
 • There is an NPC in the clean-up crew after the Island Open celebration that resembles Link. He is located near the top of the screen when the player wakes up on the field.
 • Mel's looks are strongly based on the looks of Chun-li from the Street Fighter series.
 • If an error is caused while playing multiplayer mode, an image of Mario leaving Yoshi to ride Luigi is seen. This is the only appearance Yoshi has in the game.
 • This marks the only time Waluigi has appeared in-game without Wario (though Wario can be heard saying "Nintendo" in the game's opening). His presence in this game is probably tied in to Waluigi's first appearance in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64.
