Molten Rain is a course which appears in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is Mr. Eraser's first job, and it is set in the sky theme and the Super Mario Bros. 3 style. The course has a difficulty rating of 1/4 stars. Once the course is completed, Mr. Eraser will erase blocks blocking off a red Warp Pipe, allowing Mario to reach Partrick.

Layout

At the beginning of the course is a blue Warp Pipe above which drops Buzzy Shells. Mario can use one to turn into Buzzy Mario, then enter the green pipe to the right. There is a total of eleven flying Big Lava Bubbles in the area, but Mario only needs to defeat seven to clear the objective. Mario can defeat them by simply jumping into while his shell helmet is on. A winged 10-Coin will come from the right and fly across. After the flying Big Lava Bubbles are defeated, Mario can enter a yellow Warp Pipe on the right, which takes him to an area with a few coins and the goal.

Description

  • "Your target this time is seven Lava Bubbles. What's that? You don't know how to take out Lava Bubbles? You want me to pack your lunch too? Don't worry so much, amigo! You'll figure it out."
